Known as “blé noir”, buckwheat is a flowering plant whose seeds are ground to produce buckwheat flour. This type of flour has a distinctive flavor and characteristic aroma that blends perfectly with many recipes: breads, cookies, “crêpes”, “galettes bretonnes”, soba noodles, doughs,… Note: buckwheat flour is gluten-free, it’s an excellent alternative for people with gluten intolerance. Foricher buckwheat flour comes from 100% French cereals and is guaranteed GMO-free.
